Clowning Around in June

Here are some fun photos of Jadyn's and Joseph's adventures (so far) in June....

Jadyn loves climbing trees

Da boys!

Here's Joseph enjoying some tummy time and trying to roll over.  He was successful at it a couple of weeks ago, but this particular afternoon he did not roll.  He will be doing it regularly soon enough!

Jadyn includes Joseph in some of her activities.  Here she is reading him a book.  He ADORES her, watching her intently much of his time around her.

Jadyn has been removing the sink from this piece of kitchen cabinetry and insisting there is a leaking pipe that needs to be fixed.  Great imaginative play!

We had a short-but-sweet visit with Aunt Julie early in the month.  Here are a few shots of Jadyn and Julie while at the zoo.

We couldn't believe how fast the visit was over.  One more hug, for the road!

Joseph is getting much more observant of and interested in objects around him.  He has been batting at the toys on his bouncy chair lately, and pulling Mommy's hair -- ouch! (we don't have pictures of this)

The morning of the Solstice Parade, we went to the coffee shop as usual.  Jadyn really likes chocolate croissants.  She peels back the buttery pastry layers to get to the log of chocolate inside.  Then she eats the chocolate, leaving the pastry for the foolish parents who continue to buy her chocolate croissants at her request.

For Father's Day, we went to the Mariners game.  Jadyn geared up by wearing a hat and sunglasses clips (for her, this meant dark sunglasses over light ones), just like Daddy.

Enjoying the game -- go M's!

Now that the calendar has indicated that summer has begun, we are hoping that Mother Nature gets the hint and starts throwing more sunshine our way.  June has been pretty gloomy.  We expect that will change soon, and we'll keep the camera handy, to capture all of our summer fun.
